Live Pictures of the  Kingston Ferry Traffic The Washington State Ferry System includes a ferry that travels across the Puget Sound from Edmonds to Kingston. Because Edmonds is so easy to reach just a few miles north of Seattle, this ferry is very popular. Plan on stopping at La Galleria as part of your trip. If you are returning from Kingston, just head straight up the hill into downtown Edmonds, turn right at the fountain (5th Ave S) and look for our sign on your right by the large parking lot (five blocks.)
